Over the past few weeks we have designed and built a new website for Ipswich based, Jeremy Hammersely. He is an avid cyclist who was fed up of visiting lots of different websites if he wanted to sell an item, swap an item or chat with other cyclists in a forum. So he decided he wanted his own website! We love a good API mash-up and so for the latest update to our CaffeineCommerce online shopping platform, we've integrated with OpenStreetMaps to provide a visual representation of address related data.
What does this mean for users of CaffeineCommerce?
By "geocoding" each and every address, it allows us to present users with vibrant graphical interfaces ranging from maps with markers, to heatmaps of sales across the UK, Europe and beyond. Munchy Seeds are a brand that we’ve known for a number of years and have been lucky enough to work with on a number of occasions. Crispin and Lucinda have invested their lives into creating a fantastic selection of healthy snacks that they sell to huge number of customers through their website and also in supermarkets across the UK. Their current Magento website had served them well over the past few years, but as their business continued to grow and their branding evolved it became clear that they were ready to take the next step with their online shop.

Since August we have been working with Chiara Saunders on her new business, a book review website aimed at parents and teenagers. The goal was to produce a website that would appeal to teenagers and allow them to search for books they'd like to read, each book will have a simple star rating along with a more detailed review. The site is also aimed at parents who are looking to buy books for their child, but want to make sure it's suitable before purchasing it.
